1 SCOPE
1.1 Purpose
The purpose of the technical specification is to provide guidance for the production, test procedures and delivery of products according to stated requirements. The technical specification contains technical and functional requirements to be fulfilled.
The insulated solid conductor shall provide capability to transfer of lov voltage signals with limited power. The insulated solid conductor shall be free of halogens and self-extinguishing.
Explanation to the four letter code (IXX-) included in the designation:
I (1. letter) = massive insulation of halogen-free polymer (self-extinguishing)
X (2. letter) = non-existing sheath
X (3. letter) = non-existing screening
- (4. letter) = voided
2 REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Electrical requirements
a) The insulated solid conductor shall have a rated insulation voltage, UNm of 1 kV.
2.2 Mechanical requirements
a) The conductor shall be a cylindric annealed solid copper wire.
- The insulation for the conductor shall be made of a solid (non-fomed) and self-extinguishing coloured material.
- The insulation shall be minimum 0,8 mm thick.
2.3 Identification of conductor
a) The conductor shall have an insulation material with a unique colour for identification.
2.4 Fire properties
a) The insulated solid conductor shall be free of halogens and fulfil the requirements for Class DCA, s2, d2, a2 in (NS-)EN 13501.
2.5 Products
F.number is a unique 9-digit number identifying the specific production variant provided by Bane NOR.

2.6 Markings
a) The label of the production entity shall be easy readable and durable with the following information:
- manufacturer's name
- designation
- F.number
- production length in meters
- preferably also a unique production identity
- fire clasification according to (NS-)EN 13501
- year of production
- € marking
2.7 Quality certificate
a) A quality certificate containing test results or control check points shall accompanying the cable and the invoice. The quality certificate shall indicate the purchase number.
2.8 Documentation, language
a) Product sheets shall be available in Norwegian.
3 ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS
a) The insulated solid conductor shall be delivered on rigid spools to be mounted on a stand for suitable application on site.
b) Production, use and disposal of the products shall be possible obeying national regulations (Forurensningsloven).
4 REFERENCES
